321 Stainless Steel Tubing
High-Temperature Performance Tubing from International Tube
At International Tube, we manufacture high-quality 321 stainless steel tubing (UNS S32100), a titanium-stabilized grade within the 300 series stainless steel family. As an enhanced variant of 304 stainless steel, 321 SS includes titanium in its composition, which improves strength and corrosion resistance—especially in elevated temperature environments.
This alloy offers superior resistance to intergranular corrosion, a form of degradation that occurs along the grain boundaries of the material. This makes 321 stainless steel tubing an excellent choice for applications operating within the 800–1500°F (427–816°C) range, where carbide precipitation can otherwise reduce the service life of traditional stainless steels.
321 SS Tubing Features & Applications
321 stainless steel tubing from International Tube is engineered for demanding, high-temperature environments. It offers excellent resistance to thermal fatigue, cracking, and structural degradation over prolonged service cycles.
Typical applications include:
Metal O-ring components
Aerospace systems where heat resistance is critical
Exhaust manifolds and high-temperature engine components
Oil & gas and refinery applications
Chemical processing equipment exposed to elevated temperatures
Various high-temperature industrial service environments
Like all of our welded and drawn tubing products, International Tube produces 321 SS tubing using welded strip stock that is plug drawn in coil form, then annealed as needed to meet precise temper requirements. Tubing is available in both straight lengths and continuous coil form to suit diverse application needs.
