We supply metal tubing with advanced techniques for superior quality. We use floating plug and sink draw methods for smooth bore, tight-tolerance tubing, with batch and inline heat treatment in vacuum or inert gas for oxide-free surfaces. Our process includes straightening with inline eddy current testing, shaped tubing, and in-house tool fabrication for maximum accuracy. We ensure burr-free finishes with EDM and ECM cutting, followed by ultrasonic cleaning and passivation for enhanced durability.

Our outer diameter (OD) measurements achieve an exceptional accuracy of ±0.0001 inches (±2 µm), utilizing an optical micrometer that captures over 200 circumferential readings. For inner diameter (ID) measurements, we use Class Z gauge pins to verify mechanical fit at precise intervals of 0.0001 inches (2.54 µm)

17-7 PH stainless steel equals 304’s corrosion resistance but offers >160 ksi tensile strength, faster machining, easy laser/TIG welds, and slight ferromagnetism in annealed, cold-worked, or precipitation-hardened states. This extra muscle lets you design longer, thinner-walled tubes with dimensional stability that 304 can’t match, and a simple heat treatment pushes hardness even further beyond cold-working limits.
